Anthony Timiraos Photography: About Me

Born in Havana, Cuba, Anthony Timiraos now resides in South Florida. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant and held various financial roles in Hartford, Boston, New York City, and South Florida. Before retiring in 2016, Anthony co-founded and served as the first CEO and President of Our Fund, a foundation dedicated to LGBTQ+ community support. His passion for photography emerged during his early college years, leading him to specialize in fine art photography. Today, Anthony is acclaimed for his focus on the male form, resulting in a compelling body of work featured in four books. The images he creates transcend mere appearances; the poses and moods he captures offer a glimpse into the inner person. Currently, Anthony is experimenting with manipulating the subject as the object in a striking juxtaposition. His exquisite photographs of individuals from his travels around the world also showcase a keen eye for ambiance and character. A man with a cigar in India gazes out at us universally, capturing a moment that reflects his life, views, and heart. He hopes that viewers can feel the same emotion he experienced when the photograph was taken, as he continually strives to secure moments that express his life, perspectives, and feelings.
